This book is confrontational on purpose and it names who it isn’t for. That’s the point of it, and it’s also why it works better handed to people who’ve already led something than issued to a general staff list. We ship premium only. There’s a cheaper standard service, it takes up to ten days, and it doesn’t appear to include tracking. We’d rather know where your books are.
What it costs
Yes, the price per book comes down with volume.
We’re not going to pretend otherwise, and we’re not going to publish a scale, because we’d be inventing it.
The honest mechanics: the cost to us is the print cost plus shipping, and we put a margin on top. Volume moves shipping a lot and the per-book print cost only slightly.The real numbers come out of the print system at the moment you order, against your actual quantity and destination.

- What counts as a bulk order?
- From a dozen copies upward. Below that, Amazon is faster and cheaper for you.
- What edition do we get?
- Premium trade paperback, printed to order via Manolutions Publishing and IngramSpark. It’s a better object than the standard Amazon paperback.
- Is this the right book for a whole team?
- Often not, and we’d rather say so. It’s written for people who’ve already led and built. For a full team, The 20% Leader travels better.
- Can the book carry our name?
- Yes. A printed insert or a bookplate, so it arrives as something you gave rather than something you bought.
- How long does it take?
- For a straight run: 48 hours to 5 business days to print, then 2 to 4 business days to deliver. For your own edition with a custom cover and ISBN, add 24 to 48 hours to register it and up to 72 hours for a proof. What moves the date after that is how fast you approve the proof.
- Can I have cheaper shipping?
- We ship premium only. The standard service takes up to ten days and doesn’t appear to include tracking, and we’d rather know where your books are.
- Is there a volume discount?
- Yes, and there’s no published scale because we’d be inventing it. The real number comes out of the print system against your actual quantity and destination, at the time you order.
- Can we have our own cover and ISBN?
- Yes. A custom first page, your own foreword, or a fully branded cover registered under its own ISBN as a distinct edition. Say which on the form.
